Where are the Vantrip facilities?

We’re on Lisboa 17 Street, 08210 Barberà del Vallès, Barcelona. Just 20 minutes away from Barcelona. If you want, we can pick you up at the airport or train station (service subject to availability).

What does the rent include?

Renting price includes VAT and fully comprehensive insurance with roadside assistance, plus all the necessary equipment.

We also have extra equipment like: bike carriers, baby carriers, GPS navigator, chemical WC, among others. Ask about availability and conditions.

Is there a minimal renting period?

During low and middle season, the minimal rent period is 3 days, except long weekends and holidays.
During peak and special season, the minimal rent period is 7 days.

How old do I need to be to rent?

You must be 25 years all and possess a Class B driver’s license for, at least, 2 years, valid in the whole European Union.

What’s the cancelation policy?

Up to 30 days before the van pickup day, 100% of the deposit will be reimbursed.
15-29 days before the van pickup day, 50% of the deposit will be reimbursed.
Under 15 days before the van pickup day, the deposit will not be reimbursed.

Which documentation do I need to make a reservation?

After making a reservation, you’ll need to send a copy of your DNI, ID or Passport, as well as your driver’s license via email to [email protected]

You must submit your original documents the day you pick up the van.

Do I need to make a deposit?

You need to make it, cash or credit, during the van pickup.

The deposit will be completely refunded at the end of the rent contract as long as no harm or damage due to misuse or negligence happened, both in the van’s inside or outside.

Can I add additional drivers?

Yes, as long as you submit all the necessary documentation before the pickup (via email to [email protected]) and show the original documents on the van pickup day.

Likewise, they’ll have to comply with the minimal requirements: 25 years or older, must have a type B driver’s license (for at least 2 years), valid in the whole EU.

No additional cost.

Is there any mileage restriction?

No. Mileage is unlimited in any type of rent. We want you to enjoy every mile. The more, the better!

How many people can travel and sleep in a camper van?

Our vans are approved for 4 or 5 spots, depending on the model.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Yes, as long as you respect the vehicle and you hand the van back with no odors or damages.

In case the van isn’t returned in the same hygienic conditions it had at the moment of pickup, €60 will be discounted from your deposit for cleaning.

It’s necessary to indicate you’ll bring a pet with you the moment you make a reservation.

Can I smoke or light candles inside the van?

No. For respect to future clients you’re not allowed to smoke inside our vans. Likewise, you can’t light candles inside.

Can I leave my car in your facilities?

Yes, we have a closed parking lot where you can park your vehicle. This service has no cost, but it’s always under your responsibility.

Can I leave Spain with the van?

Yes. El insurance covers both Europe and Africa.

What are the van pickup and return schedules?

Van pickup and return schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 19:00h at our facilities located in Santa Salvadora street nº19, Ripollet, just 20 minutes away from Barcelona.

For weekend rents, the return will be on Sunday from 19:00 to 21:00. In case the van isn’t rented for the following Monday, it may be returned on Monday between 9:00 and 10:00.

What are the van pickup and return schedules for the weekend package?

Van pickup and return schedule corresponding to the weekend pack is as follows:

Pickup: Fridays from 9:00 to 20:00. Return: Monday before 10:00. Both pickup and return will be at our facilities located in Santo Salvador street nº19, Ripollet, just 20 minutes away from Barcelona.

How tall are the vans?

Our vans have a 2.00m height. They can only access parking lots with heights of 2.10m or more.

Which fuel do the camper vans use?

Our vans use diesel fuel.

What should I do in case of malfunction or fault?

All our vans have Roadside Assistance Service included in the rent for 24 hours, every day of the year.

It’s essential that you contact us in the face of any incidence through the phone number we give you for such effects. We’re available 24/7 for any urgency you may have.

We’ll take care of all the necessary arrangements to guarantee a satisfactory resolution, both with the Assistance Service as well as any agent that intervenes in the process.

Can I come check a van before I rent it?

Of course. Our doors are open for you in the schedule that appears in the Contact section of our website.
We recommend you call us before to ask and make sure the van you want to use is not currently on route.

Can you install baby or kid carriers in the van?

Yes, they can be installed. It must be indicated during the reservation process.

Are personal objects covered by insurance?

No, rent insurance does not cover loss, damage or theft of your belongings.

Can we bring our bikes?

Yes, we can include a bike carrier for two with additional cost. You need to notify us during the reservation process.

What’s included inside the van?

All our vans include:

Kitchen utensils (4 sets of silverware, dishes and cups; 2 pans; 1 pot with a strainer and a cutting board).
Cleaning utensils (mop, soap, garbage bags and multipurpose cloth).
Outdoor camping table with 4 chairs.
